Sunday school classes:
Children’s Church is available for children ages 4-8years during the second service. For Children’s Church the young people enjoy praise and worship and special Bible lessons and hands-on activities from 11:00— noon.
Nursery - the parent beeper/flashers, is operational during first and second services.
Youth Group - for students in 9th — 12th grades, meets weekly at the church on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30.
Deacon and Trustees (elected positions who are nominated from male church members) meet with Pastor once a month, usually on the first Sunday of the month, after the second service.
“Busy Bee Prayer Group” Bible study - Tuesday mornings from 10:00 AM to noon, Columbus Bible Church women and their guests meet weekly to study the Warren Wiersbe study guide books which are provided by the church.
AWANA - Additional education for children from ages 3 years old through 8th grade. AWANA promises education and Bible learning while children have fun receiving prizes for memorizing Bible verses, etc. AWANA meets weekly at the church from September through March on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM — 8:00 PM.
Adult prayer meeting and Bible lessons - weekly from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays evenings at the church.
Choir - 8:00 PM after prayer meeting on Tuesday nights, and from 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM before Sunday service. Choir leader holds additional practice sessions when preparing for Christmas Cantata and Easter.
"Super Seniors” - meet at the church on the third Thursday of the month from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM. All church attendees are welcome at Super Senior events, retirement age is not required.
Women’s Fellowship - meets for select women's activities see Ladies Lace brochure at the welcome desk.
Men’s Bible Study meets about twice a month on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM.
“Young at Heart” families - usually seven to ten family activities per year, including an annual camping trip in August, and an evening of fun and hay ride in October. “Young at Heart” is mostly comprised of families with young children but all church attendees are invited and welcome to attend any and all activities.
Vacation Bible School - usually held the week after public school gets out for the summer. Children ages 4 years old through 8th grade are invited to a week-long program of Bible lessons, crafts, and songs.
Good News Bible Camp - Students attend winter and summer camps in Gladwin, Michigan. Good News Camp is a non-denominational camp supported by Columbus Bible Church and many other churches in Michigan. Women from Columbus Bible Church attend Ladies Retreat every year in October and some men occasionally join the bow-hunting retreat in October.
